Happy Thursday dear friends! I am SO excited to introduce She Comes Bi - the companion podcast to this newsletter! This has been in the works for several months (maybe even a year) since I took part in a pitch workshop with LA Radio Club. They are a great group of people and provide awesome programing and content around LA. If you are at all interested in audio storytelling and journalism you should check them out!
There’s so much I could say about the project, how much it means to me to put out my own interview show, how delighted I am to share my friends’ stories, and how pumped I am to be collaborating with fellow Bisexual, Josh Stretten-Carlson, and his podcast network Industry Plant…but I hope the care and time we put into the work will (literally) speak for itself. Plus don’t want any spoilers for the fun to come in this season’s episodes.
In our first episode I talk with multi-hyphenated creative, co-host of the podcast that inspired She Comes Bi in the first place, and fellow Substack writer, Nat Roberts about gender, legacy media, Carl Jung, haircuts, shapeshifting aliens, and of course, Bisexuality.
I hope you’ll come Bi and join us :)
Check us out wherever you find podcasts!
If you have feedback, topic ideas, questions, suggestions, or want to be a guest on the show, let me know!
ALSO after you listen, and if you’re in the the mood for some quality reporting about the goings on in LA, check out these journalists on Blue Sky doing amazing on the ground reporting.
Thanks for reading friends! Take care of you and take care of each other <3
